Strategically launching the brand in the fiercely competitive French e-commerce market
A market leader in industrial & consumer electronics and computer accessories for over 45 years, German distributor reichelt elektronik was looking to expand into the French market. The PR challenge? To promote reichelt to the French media and press landscape – their core business that targets the B2B market, while generating interest amongst consumers with a B2C tech brand messaging.
Our collaboration began with the introduction of the reichelt brand to the French media via an Open Day held in the presence of the CEO. The event gave our client the opportunity to present to journalists a range of products available for sale on www.reichelt.fr. Since then, we’ve been helping them maintain brand recognition in the French media through an influence marketing strategy, working with micro-influencers (bloggers and specialist YouTubers), and conducting regular market studies on reichelt’s key target customers to support the company’s business strategy.
Today reichelt is one of the European market leaders in electronics, a recognition won from their core target: electronic and IT trade media, as well as consumer tech media. Building on the successful launch in France in 2017, reichelt is now set to expand its business in the Netherlands and Poland.
