Challenge
On the eve of the company’s 30th anniversary, G-Data brought OneChocolate onboard to assist with their mass media launch and to quickly get the brand recognised as a key player in quality IT security products (antivirus, secure online solutions).

Solution
To generate interest and engage the lifestyle, general IT, and business media, we came up with an idea which involves a cocktail of event and content. In addition to an unusual choice of location (a mysterious 18th-century house in the heart of Paris), the invited speakers brought real added value to the topic discussed: Eric Freyssinet, special advisor on cyber threats at the Ministry of Interior, and Alizé Cornet, the number 1 French tenniswoman at the time but also a former victim of personal data theft. The event was completed with a fun video game whose creation was inspired by the venue, an on-site press lunch, and the publication of the results of a study on the black market and IT security.

Results

G-Data has demonstrated its expertise in the field of cybercrime and successfully positioned itself at the forefront of the industry.

Some fifteen journalists attended the event, and numerous interviews were generated by the occasion and over the following weeks.
